How to download Pinterest videos on Android

Last updated: June 24, 2026

On Android, saving a Pinterest video is quick and needs no extra app — Chrome (or any modern browser) handles the download. Paste a pin link below and follow the steps.

Works with pinterest.com, pin.it and country links — videos, images, GIFs & stories.

Step by step on Android

  1. Copy the pin link. In the Pinterest app, open the video pin, tap the share icon and choose “Copy link”. In Chrome, copy the URL from the address bar.
  2. Open GetPinVideo in Chrome. Go to getpinvideo.com, paste the link into the box and tap Download.
  3. Save to Downloads. Tap the quality you want. Chrome saves the MP4 to your Downloads folder — find it in Files or your Gallery.

Where the file is saved

Downloads go to your Downloads folder by default. Open the Files (or “My Files”) app to find them, or check the Gallery for videos and images. You can then share or move them anywhere.

Android tips

  • If Chrome asks, confirm the download — some browsers prompt before saving media files.
  • Choose the highest resolution shown for the sharpest video.
  • Using Samsung Internet or another browser? The same paste-and-download steps work.

Looking for other formats? Try the image downloader or GIF downloader. On a different device? See the guides for iPhone and PC / Mac.
