Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

This policy explains what GetPinVideo (getpinvideo.com) does and does not collect when you use the site. In short: we don’t store the media you download, and we don’t require an account.

No files are stored

GetPinVideo resolves the direct media link for a pin and hands it to your browser. The actual video or image then transfers directly from Pinterest’s content-delivery network (pinimg.com) to your device, or streams through our edge function without ever being written to disk. We do not keep copies of any media you download.

What we process

  • The pin link you paste — used only, in the moment, to fetch the pin’s public data and return download links. Resolved results may be briefly cached at the edge (keyed by pin id) to speed up repeat requests.
  • Basic request metadata — such as IP address and user agent, used transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We don’t build profiles from it.
  • Analytics — if enabled, we use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand usage and whether downloads succeed. This does not identify you personally.

Cookies

The core tool works without cookies. Analytics or advertising partners, where enabled, may set their own cookies; you can block these in your browser. We don’t use cookies to track you across other sites.

Advertising

We may show ads to keep GetPinVideo free. Ad networks may use cookies or device identifiers to serve relevant ads, subject to their own privacy policies. We never share the pin links you paste with advertisers.

Third parties

Media is fetched from Pinterest’s servers; your use of that content is also subject to Pinterest’s terms. We use Cloudflare to host and serve the site. We do not sell personal data.

Your choices

Because we don’t hold accounts or stored media, there’s little personal data to manage. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, and you can contact us with any privacy question at [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
